THINK WISELY, ACT BOLDLY

image
The Center for Collaborative Command and Leadership (CCCL) has a 20 year-long, highly distinguished history of leading edge innovation and service to the academic, military, health care, and business communities. CCCL is the proud heir of Medsmart, Inc., a company that pioneered transcontinentally-distributed medical training in disaster medicine using human patient simulation and virtual and augmented reality (A/VR). Involvement of Medsmart in activities focused on Medical Operations other than War (MOOTWA) transited CCCL to its current profile centered on readiness training and preparation of civilian and military senior executive personnel exposed to sudden, unforeseen, transboundary crises and disasters.

CCCL CREDO

We do not teach you

How to be a leader,

Or how to solve problems.

We do not teach you

How to think critically,

Or teach you resilience.

We do not teach you

How to be agile,

Or teach you to be prepared.

We expect you to be

All that.

The only thing we do

Is to teach you to be Ready.

Ready for Anything,

Ready at Any Time,

And Ready Wherever

You may be.

For only when you are Ready,

Will You Be Successful.

The FSO Safer anchored beside the VLCC Yemen

Is the 'Yemen' Becoming 'Safer'?

Recently the VLCC Nautica became the MFSO Yemen. Unfortunately, the change of name does not necessarily mean a change in the possibility of the largest environmental disaster caused by a catastrophic release of oil from a Very Large Crude Oil Carrier (VLCC). MFSO (Moored Floating Storage and Offloading vesssel) Yemen ex-Nautica anchored in the conflict-ridden vicinity of Bab el Mandeb Strait is about to become the cause of such a disaster…

CCCL provides an update and a warning about the potential dangers of the two ships now anchored in the Red Sea.

Refer to our previous posts on the situation, potential dangers of an oil spill in the Red Sea, and the previous call for funding and UN plan to transfer oil from the failing Safer to the Nautica (now the Yemen) - The SAFER Imbroglio
